I had mentioned previously the mid-90's FPS gold rush, the embarassment of riches we would later lament until the rise of the Boomer Shooter, but this game is like a turducken of the 90's: an FPS using the Build Engine, based on a series of ghostwritten pulp sci-fi novels, and and not only named after William Shatner but literally featuring FMV of the man himself chewing the scenery in potato quality video. Are you not entertained?
At this point you're either intrigued enough to continue or you're rolling your eyes and scrolling the page. The barrier to entry on this one is just getting a hold of the data files for the game since due to licensing reasons the game is long out of print and never hit the usual suspects like GOG. But for those willing to put in the work, you can experience this CD-ROM based FPS released in the near diametric center of the 90's like you saw it on the shelf at Babbage's
The source was released by a former Capstone programmer in 2006 and the JFTekWar project arose from that.
